The PGSL is offering a Fall hitting clinic for all players, which provides an opportunity to improve your player's hitting skills. The Pre-season clinic is an excellent opportunity to work on mechanics before putting the equipment away for the season.
We are excited to announce that the instructor will be Mike Nosky. Mike is the Director of the Blue Hills Impact softball program as well as the Varsity softball coach at Dedham High School. Mike has extensive experience as a hitting instructor and we are excited to have him leading our clinics.
Once again, a key feature of the hitting clinics is that players will be split into Beginner/Novice and Intermediate/Advanced groups. The Beginner/Novice Group will be for players who have never taken a PGSL hitting clinic (or have taken one and need a refresher course); and will focus on fundamentals. This group generally consists of U-8 and U10 players. The Intermediate/Advanced Group is for older players or players who have taken PGSL hitting clinics before and will focus on more advanced techniques and have a quicker pace.
The Fall hitting clinic will be a four week session held on Saturdays (October 17th, 24th, 31st, and November 7th). The clinics will be at Billings Field. There will be two one-hour groups each week:
Beginner/ Novice: 1pm-2pm
Ten girls can be accommodated in each group, and all players must register on the PGSL website. The cost is $50 for each four week session. Participants may pay by credit card on the PGSL website, by accessing the registration tab and selecting the 2020 Fall Hitting Clinic. Payment may also be made by check, payable to PGSL. Checks must be brought to the first session.
Sign-up is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and it is expected that this session will fill up quickly. Please send an email to email@example.com for any questions you may have.
Hope to see you there!
