Parkway Girls Softball League will offer a Pitching Clinic for any player interested in developing this very specialized skill. Anyone interested in pitching during the spring or summer season is encouraged to participate. There will be two sessions: one for Beginner/Novice pitchers and one for Intermediate/Advanced pitchers.
Kristen Earle will be the clinic's instructor. Kristen is the head coach of the Mount Alvernia High School Varsity softball team, and a former PGSL player and varsity pitcher for Mount Alvernia. She has led a number of pitching and skills clinics for the PGSL, as well as leagues in other surrounding towns.
The clinics will be held at the Washington Irving School at 105 Cummins Highway in Roslindale. Here are the clinic's details:
Instructor: Kristen Earle
Dates: Saturday, November 16th, Sunday, November 24th, Saturday, December 7th, 14th and 21st (five weeks)
Session 1: 8:00am-9:00am (primarily for Beginners/Novice pitchers)
Session 2: 9:00am-10:00am (primarily for Intermediate/Advanced pitchers)
Location: Washington Irving School, 105 Cummins Highway, Roslindale
Because space is limited, please register for your desired time on the PGSL website (parkwaygirlssbl.com). Select Registration from the main menu, then select the appropriate session. When registering, please provide your Pitching experience.
Please Note: Each pitcher is required to provide their own catcher (parent / responsible friend or sibling) each week.
